Real Policing

Have you ever wondered why you don’t see police officers on the street as often as you used to? Have you ever considered what they’re doing and what they ought to be doing? Or what officers think of how they spend their time and how they’d rather be spending it?

Real Policing, a site created by Johnno Hills, just one of the many who joined our police force to be a ‘real’ policeman and was thwarted by current government policies, will give you the answers, and give you your say.

If you care about law enforcement in this country, and want to see our police return to ‘real’ policing, please sign Johnno’s petition declaring dissatisfaction with target driven policing methods and excessive government bureaucracy which has left our streets devoid of a regularly visible police presence.

Remember: “All that is necessary for evil men to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”

April 25th update… Just one example of the bureaucratic nightmare suffered by our police: the Daily Mail follows the trail of a typical minor offence, a convoluted process involving 17 police officers and civilians and an astonishing 131 separate pieces of paper.
